Dance classes

Further update

The time will soon be here to get back to dancing but with some slightly different measures in place for the safety of us and our dancers.

We are hoping that the majority of our classes will remain at Linton Village College and we have already had some initial contact with the organiser of the Leisure Centre, and we keep you informed once we have firm dates and timings.

Regarding future classes, it goes without saying if you or any family member has symptoms of Covid-19 please DO NOT attend any of our classes or private lessons.

Some basic measures in place will be:-

• The use of hand sanitizer will be mandatory when entering and exiting the premises and upon arrival you will have your temperature taken.
• We will require you to fill out a form for track and trace purposes.
• You are not at present required to wear a mask for your lesson, but we will leave this up to the individual. If there are changes to this we will make you aware.
• All classes will have a gap between them for turnaround. Please help us by not loitering.
• Payment. Please try and have the correct money available.
• As teachers we will operate a non-touch policy and will be social distancing.
• Although social distancing is at 1 metre plus our aim is to keep it at 2 metres wherever possible between each dancing couple.
• We are in the process of finalising your classes as “dance bubbles” and due to restrictions on the amount of dancers and teachers allowed in the studio at any one time there will need to be applied a strict cancellation policy. Further details to be supplied.
• We will keep you informed of future Government Guidelines.

Looking to the future and hopefully post Covid-19 we are hoping to offer more dance classes (and fitness classes) and also dance events in the future. EXCITING TIMES AHEAD!

Please bear with us and thank you all for your continuing support.
